After a hail storm in 2016, we helped a CO homeowner replace over 40 broken concrete tiles with a better quality, lighter and stronger DECRA tile.
We met this homeowner after a huge hail storm pummeled Littleton, CO in 2016. He had a concrete tile roof that had over 40 broken concrete tiles, and to make matter worse, this type of tile was no longer in production. We met with the insurance adjuster twice and finally got a new roof paid for by their insurance company. We agreed to provide a better quality material in place of the concrete tile, the DECRA tile is a stone-coated metal tile that is nearly a 1/3 of the weight of concrete, and is much stronger and better performing in wind.
